Regadenoson

Overview

Regadenoson is a selective A2A adenosine receptor agonist used as a pharmacologic stress agent for myocardial perfusion imaging in patients unable to undergo adequate exercise stress. It is used clinically to help diagnose coronary artery disease via its ability to increase blood flow in the coronary vasculature.
