Overview

Lapatinib is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. It works by inhibiting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and HER2/neu receptor pathways, which are involved in tumor cell proliferation.
