Granisetron Hydrochloride
Overview
Granisetron Hydrochloride is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist used primarily as an antiemetic to treat nausea and vomiting following chemotherapy. It works by blocking serotonin from binding to 5-HT3 receptors located on vagal nerve terminals and in the chemoreceptor trigger zone.
