Sitagliptin

Overview

Sitagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor used as an oral antihyperglycemic agent for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing incretin levels, which inhibit glucagon release, thereby increasing insulin secretion.
