Linagliptin

Overview

Linagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitor used as an oral hypoglycemic agent for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, which inhibit glucagon release and increase insulin secretion.
