Tetrabenazine
Overview
Tetrabenazine is a vesicular monoamine transporter 2 (VMAT2) inhibitor used to treat hyperkinetic movement disorders such as Huntington's disease. It reduces the excess dopamine activity in the brain that contributes to these disorders.
