Overview

Sodium Oxybate is the sodium salt of gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), used therapeutically for the treatment of narcolepsy with cataplexy and excessive daytime sleepiness. It acts as a central nervous system depressant modulating GABA receptors in the brain.
