Armodafinil

Overview

Armodafinil is a wakefulness-promoting agent used to treat excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, shift work disorder, and obstructive sleep apnea. It is the R-enantiomer of modafinil and is believed to work by altering the amount of certain natural substances in the brain that control sleep and wakefulness.
