Overview
Sildenafil Citrate is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used primarily to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. It facilitates vasodilation and increased blood flow in the corpus cavernosum by selective inhibition of PDE5.
