Sertraline

Overview

Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used primarily to treat major depressive disorder, anxiety and certain types of phobia. It functions by increasing the amount of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that helps maintain mental balance.
