Omega-3-acid Ethyl Esters

Overview

Omega-3-Acid Ethyl Esters are used to reduce triglyceride levels in patients with very high triglyceride levels (above 500 mg/dL). They are a combination of ethyl esters of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are active ingredients derived from fish oils.
