Gemfibrozil
Overview
Gemfibrozil is an antihyperlipidemic agent that reduces cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood with a particular effect on reducing triglycerides and raising HDL cholesterol. It is primarily used to treat dyslipidemia and prevent cardiovascular disease.
