Overview
Leuprolide acetate is a synthetic nonapeptide analogue of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) used in the treatment of hormone-responsive cancers such as prostate cancer and conditions like endometriosis. It acts by temporarily suppressing the production of certain hormones.
