Leflunomide

Overview

Leflunomide is an immunomodulatory drug primarily used for the treatment of active moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis. It works by inhibiting dihydroorotate dehydrogenase, an enzyme involved in pyrimidine synthesis, thus reducing lymphocyte proliferation.
