Fluorouracil

Overview

Fluorouracil is a pyrimidine analog that interferes with nucleic acid synthesis, used in the treatment of cancers such as colon, rectal, breast, gastric, and pancreatic cancer. It is also applied topically for actinic keratoses and basal cell carcinoma.
