Overview
Desipramine Hydrochloride is a tricyclic antidepressant primarily used in the treatment of major depression and certain types of neuropathic pain. It functions by inhibiting the reuptake of norepinephrine and, to a lesser extent, serotonin, thereby enhancing neurotransmitter activity in the central nervous system.
