Risperidone

Overview

Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability associated with autistic disorder. It works by antagonizing dopamine D2 receptors and serotonin type 2A (5-HT2A) receptors in the brain.
