Cortisone Acetate

Overview

Cortisone acetate is a synthetic derivative of cortisone with anti-inflammatory effects, used to treat a variety of conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, and rheumatic diseases. As a prodrug, it is metabolized in the liver to its active form, hydrocortisone.
