Vigabatrin

Overview

Vigabatrin is an antiepileptic drug used as an adjunctive therapy for patients with refractory complex partial seizures. It irreversibly inhibits the enzyme gamma-aminobutyric acid transaminase (GABA-T), leading to increased levels of GABA in the brain.
