Prasugrel

Overview

Prasugrel is an oral antiplatelet medication that is used to reduce the risk of thrombotic cardiovascular events in patients with acute coronary syndrome. It works by inhibiting platelet aggregation through the irreversible antagonism of the P2Y12 platelet ADP-receptor.
