Metoclopramide Hydrochloride

Overview

Metoclopramide Hydrochloride is a dopamine receptor antagonist used primarily as an antiemetic and to enhance gastric motility. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone and enhancing the response of the upper gastrointestinal tract to acetylcholine.
