Maralixibat Chloride
Overview
Maralixibat Chloride is a selective inhibitor of the ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT/ASBT) indicated for the treatment of cholestatic pruritus in patients with Alagille syndrome. This therapeutic agent works by reducing the reabsorption of bile acids in the intestine, thereby lowering bile acid levels in patients.
