Diazepam

Overview

Diazepam is a benzodiazepine that enhances the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABA-A receptor, producing sedative and anxiolytic effects. It is commonly used to treat anxiety, muscle spasms, and seizures.
