Celecoxib

Overview

Celecoxib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), leading to decreased formation of prostaglandins involved in inflammation and pain. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and acute pain.
