Carbidopa
Overview
Carbidopa is a medication used in the management of Parkinson's disease, often in combination with levodopa. It acts by inhibiting the enzyme aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase, thereby preventing the conversion of levodopa into dopamine outside the brain.
